This series of watercolor on canvas paintings explores ideas of new beginnings. Working intuitively with color to evoke the gentle promise of fresh starts, I distill the ideas into a painted rhythm that is at times timid, and other times bold. Through the intentional use of color and layers, I offer the viewer an opportunity to reflect on simple moments that might easily be overlooked but that hold the promise of hope.
